As part of Women's History Month, Rose Merchant, Women in Rail award-winner speaks about her recent win, why more women are needed in the industry and the changes she's seen so far
The railway is redoubling its efforts to be more representative of the community it serves. Throughout the bicentenary, Railway 200 is championing the role of women and shining a light on the diversity of roles available for everyone. Emma Roberts and Nicole Tibby from the Railway 200 team will be at the Rail Unites for Inclusion Gender Conference on 20 March to discuss inspiring the next generation of women into rail.
