Railways Bill consultation launches

The Railways Bill is set to deliver a once in a generation overhaul of Britain’s railways, ending decades of poor service and timetable chaos.

A consultation launched on 18 February 2025 outlines plans to establish Great British Railways, a new body which will put passengers first, raise living standards and support growth across the UK.
